What this page is

This page quotes r/12TesterTeam's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/12TesterTeam's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion

Test One App Before Posting Yours
Before posting your own app for testing, test at least one other app and leave feedback. This keeps the community fair and active.
Testing Posts Only (No Spam)
Posts must be related to app testing, feedback, or Play Store topics. No unrelated promotions, referral links, or spam.
No External Service Promotion
Do not promote other testing services or platforms in posts or comments.
All 7 rules of r/12TesterTeam
  1. No Direct Messages (No DM Requests)
Do not ask members to contact you via DM or private chat. All communication must stay in public comments to keep the community transparent and safe.
  2. No Personal Contact Sharing
Do not share personal contact details (WhatsApp, Telegram, email, phone number, etc.). Keep all communication inside Reddit.
  3. Comment Before Testing
If you test someone’s app, you must leave at least one meaningful comment under their post. Silent installs without feedback are not allowed.
  4. Meaningful Feedback Only
Comments like “Nice app” or “Good” are not allowed. Provide real feedback such as UI issues, bugs, performance problems, or suggestions.
  5. Test One App Before Posting Yours
Before posting your own app for testing, test at least one other app and leave feedback. This keeps the community fair and active.
  6. Testing Posts Only (No Spam)
Posts must be related to app testing, feedback, or Play Store topics. No unrelated promotions, referral links, or spam.
  7. No External Service Promotion
Do not promote other testing services or platforms in posts or comments.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
