What this page is

This page quotes r/AIWarsButBetter's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/AIWarsButBetter's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

No generalization of people.
If you post an anti, neutral, or pro saying something bad and then go "ALL OF THEM ARE LIKE THIS!", it WILL be removed. Comments/posts like that promote the idea that one bad apple makes them all rotten, which is the opposite of what we are trying to achieve on this subreddit.
All 14 rules of r/AIWarsButBetter
  1. ALL opinions are allowed.
Anti, pro, neutral, all are welcome. Just don't be a jerk about it.
  2. Poison fountain
Content is not allowed if its purpose is to help or encourage others to deliberately corrupt, poison, or manipulate data or information pipelines used by AI systems, including through crawler-facing content, training data, fine-tuning data, embeddings, retrieval sources, or similar mechanisms.
  3. No ragebait posts/comments.
This is a discussion sub, not "I am chad, you are virgin" slop spam.
  5. Common Sense.
Follow the site's TOS, and if it gets you banned in other places, it'll sure as HELL get ya banned here.
  6. No death threats or encouraging violence against the opposing side.
"Let's kill AI artists," "Let's kill Anti-AI" and any variation will be removed.
  7. No personal attacks or incivility.
"Treat thy neighbor as you treat thyself" or whatever. Don't be a jerk, or we'll jerk out your rights to chat here. (banning or removal)
  8. No crossposting negativity.
Crossposting is fine, just don't crosspost ragebait.
  9. Censor usernames.
    Self explanatory.
  10. No brigading.
    THIS IS SOOOOOOOO OBVIOUS.
  11. You get one chance to appeal a ban.
If you are banned for any reason, you get one chance to appeal the ban.
  12. Pre-banned users:
Pre-banned users are ragebaiters, people who spam KYS and other things.
  13. No low effort posts
Posting just links isn’t allowed, you must give a short (or long) descriptor that is at least longer than two sentences. Your post must also make an actual argument and contribute to the larger discussion around AI
  14. Links are allowed, just don’t post only links.
    Please

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
