What its rules say about promotion
Must be relevant to App Business
You can post about anything related to app business including ideas, validation, development, marketing, launch, analytics, customer dev and ASO as long as it doesn’t conflict with any other rule.
No promotion of your own apps
We do not want this subreddit to turn into a tool for marketing. We will have a weekly app feedback thread on Friday, please use that for feedback.
No promotion of your Business
This subreddit is not meant for advertising your business/agency services. If your posting provides value in the form of information or valuable resources for appreneurs it will be allowed.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
