  3. No scam accusations without evidence
    DM the mods first. Public accusation posts without evidence will be removed.
  4. No MLM, pyramid schemes, or unpaid trials
    No recruiting for pyramid schemes, MLM, or multi-level structures. No unpaid trial shifts. Legitimate commission-only roles are welcome.
  5. No reposting removed content
    If your post was removed, do not repost it without first resolving the issue with the mods via DM.
  6. No unsolicited DMs to members
    Do not DM members to recruit, sell, or pitch without their consent. Reports of this will result in a ban.
  7. Respect
    No personal attacks, harassment, or naming and shaming individuals without evidence.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
