What this page is
This page quotes r/ArcBrowser's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-06. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ArcBrowser's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? r/ArcBrowser is a forum to discuss Arc — a better way to use the internet. Arc is available on macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows. Arc typically receives updates on Thursdays. Note: r/ArcBrowser is not affiliated with The Browser Company.
What its rules say about promotion
No off-topic content
• All posts must be related to Arc in terms of opinions, speculation, questions, or content. • Posts about other browsers are allowed only if they are directly relevant to Arc (e.g. comparisons, design discussions, or feature overlap). • Posts made solely to advertise another browser or product will be removed and may result in bans.
No Spam or Self-Promotion
• Do not post promotional content, affiliate links, or solicitations. • Sharing personal projects (e.g. extensions or customizations) is allowed only if they are directly relevant to Arc and not behind a paywall.
All 9 rules of r/ArcBrowser
- Be Kind
Debate and disagreement are fine, but hostility is not. • Personal attacks, insults, disrespect, and threats of violence are strictly prohibited. • Do not intentionally provoke drama or bait other users into arguments. • Treat this community as a space for constructive discussion, not venting at others. - No Invite Requests
• Do not ask for product invites in posts or comments. • Do not offer product invites to others. • This includes indirect requests like “where can I get an invite?” or “can someone help me join?” • Violations will result in temporary bans, repeat offenders may be permanently banned. - No Leaking
• Do not share or discuss unreleased features, updates, or content that are not publicly accessible or officially announced by The Browser Company. • This includes speculating about, hinting at, or posting images or videos of internal builds, test flags or experiments. • Content found in app bundles but not visible in the final product, like hidden feature flags, unreleased assets, or future capability references, is still private & shouldn't be publicly discussed. - Search Before Posting
• Before asking a question or reporting an issue, search the subreddit and check the Wiki. • Many common questions and problems (like missing features, AI limitations, or platform availability) have already been answered. • Posts that duplicate existing answers without meaningful new information may be removed. - Use Proper Flairs
• Select the correct flair when posting to help keep the subreddit organized. • Mods may remove or reassign flairs without warning if they are incorrect or missing. - No off-topic content
- No Low-Effort Posts
• Posts that do not add meaningful discussion or information (e.g. “Arc sucks,” “when Windows??”) may be removed at moderator discretion. • Meme posts are allowed only if they are original and add context to ongoing discussions. - No Spam or Self-Promotion
• Do not post promotional content, affiliate links, or solicitations. • Sharing personal projects (e.g. extensions or customizations) is allowed only if they are directly relevant to Arc and not behind a paywall. - Keep Feedback Constructive
• Criticism is welcome, but keep it specific and actionable. “This is terrible” helps no one, but “X feature feels clunky because…” does. • Posts with unconstructive negativity may be removed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
