What this page is
This page quotes r/AskBelgium's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/AskBelgium's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 8 rules of r/AskBelgium
- Post titles must be questions.
The goal of this sub is to ask a question. Feel free to add information in the body of your post, but your title should be a question. - No questions that can be easily Googled.
If you want to know the price of a Giant burger or the opening hours of your local police station, try Google instead of posting here. - No rant posts or loaded questions.
If your question is actually a rant or another tool to vent frustration or push a point, please post somewhere else. - No surveys.
This sub's goal is not to become the default place to post surveys. - Top level comments must be on-topic.
Joke replies, judgemental responses, rants or other shenanigans are not allowed as direct responses to the post. - Play nice.
No bigotry, racism, victim-blaming, sexism, etc.. You know, the usual. - Keep it legal.
We can't allow content that is illegal in Belgium. This includes giving advice how to do or obtain stuff illegally. - No advertising
That includes but is not limited to: no social/sexual ads, no job postings or requests, no "I'm selling a bike, interested?", no "I'm looking for a plumber", no "I'm a plumber looking for work".
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
