What this page is
This page quotes r/AskMtFHRT's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/AskMtFHRT's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

All 5 rules of r/AskMtFHRT
- Hormone therapy only
All posts must be about hormone therapy. Off-topic threads will be removed. See other subreddits for other topics (e.g., r/AskTransgender, r/TransTimelines, r/Transpassing, r/TransBreastTimelines). - Be civil, respectful, and tactful
Posts and comments should be civil, respectful and tactful towards others at all times. Users who break this rule may be temporarily or permanently banned. Please report posts and comments that break this rule. - No underage persons
Due to liability concerns, we do not allow underage persons (<18 years of age) or those who identify themselves as speaking on behalf of underage persons on this subreddit. People who clearly identify themselves as underage will be banned. Please report such individuals. Age should be largely irrelevant to discussion. - No medication sourcing
Due to liability concerns, we do not allow discussion about sourcing or purchasing of medications. Please direct such questions and discussion elsewhere, for instance r/TransDIY. - No spam or advertising
Spam and advertising are not allowed and will be removed. If you would like to advertise something relevant about hormone therapy, for instance recruitment for a new study, please contact the moderators and we may clear it. Advertising for hormone suppliers will not be approved.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
