If your request is seeking narcotics or other illicit substances it will be removed. Just because narcotics are decriminalized in Oregon for possession of personal amounts and consumption does *NOT* mean it is legal to seek them in real life or on Reddit. All questions must be asked in good faith. No obvious or veiled attempts to stir up toxic discussions. - Keep comments and user history intact
Users will retain all post and comment history. Excessive comment and post deletions is not allowed. We understand that sometimes a comment or post will be deleted but egregious amounts of purging can result in a ban.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
