No name calling or insults. No slurs or discrimination. - Put in some effort
Don't post here before searching on ABB for the book or in the sub for similar questions. Make sure you are spelling the author name correctly. Look for recent comments with the same request, especially on newer books. - No Ads or self promotion
If you post an ad here, you will be banned. - Stay on topic (ABB) This isn't the best place for general audiobook questions
This is about the audiobookbay website, not general torrent or audiobook sites. If you have specific questions, you would have a bigger audience in r/audiobooks or r/torrents - Use author name and the book title in your comment and make sure they are spelled correctly
Make it easy for people by spelling things correctly. - No direct links to files
Do not post direct file links. Use messages if you must or better yet, help people find it in the same way that you did.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
