All 11 rules of r/BambuLab
- Be Kind and Courteous
Comments that are deliberately malicious, mean, inflammatory, or insulting are subject to removal. As our community consists of users of many skill levels, let's try to make it a productive place to communicate with one another. This rule covers fairly broad situations, and may be applied in cases of trolling and flaming as well. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - NSFW Content Ban
NSFW and sexual content (videos, photos, text) shall be removed. This may include jokes, references, and more. Our subreddit is open to users of various ages and backgrounds, and we want all users to have a welcoming and safe experience browsing. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - Post Solution-Oriented Responses
All comments must include enough information or links so that the original poster can utilize your recommendation. Make sure the information you post or comment to others is correct and accurate. Misinformation is harmful to the community. Troubleshooting, tutorials, and similar discussion with clear intent of installing mods involving heaters, highly volatile or explosive materials or anything that could be construed as "don't try this at home" or dangerous to untrained end users is prohibited. - Hateful Conduct
There will be zero tolerance for hate speech and/or bullying. Degrading, malicious, sarcastic (or otherwise negative) comments about race, physical or mental ability, religion, politics, culture, sexual orientation, gender, identity, or any other trait is prohibited. Malicious or hateful content (videos, photos, text, etc) is subject to removal. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - No Weapon or Drug Related Content
Any kind of functional weapons-related content is not allowed. However, non-functional cosplay and props are acceptable and must be labeled as such. Additionally, posts or comments showing drug use or paraphernalia are not permitted. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - No Brand Bashing
There will be no brand bashing in posts or comments about Bambu Labs or any other manufacturer. Healthy discussion of brand differences is permitted; trolling and/or inflammatory or malicious behavior is not. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - Post Flair - Please Use Correct Flair
Our subreddit's post flair helps other users recognize posts at a glance, find what they're looking for, filter out certain categories of content, etc. Post flair is an important part of how subreddits function. Please make sure you are utilizing post flairs correctly. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - "IP" Infringement [Intellectual Property Rights]
Posts encouraging, depicting, or describing theft of intellectual property ("IP") are not permitted in this subreddit. IP theft of BambuLab or other companies are prohibited. You may post photographs of items you have created as long as they are not self-promotion/selling/soliciting/begging, and they do not infringe on others' IP. - No Selling, Soliciting, Begging etc
Content that directs other users to items or services for sale may be removed. Begging other users for items or services is prohibited. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - Do not threaten, harass, doxx other users.
Any threatening behavior, harassment or stalking, attempts to doxx, or doxxing (posting personal information of another user without their explicit consent) is prohibited. Mods may action users who break these rules at their own discretion. - Don't Double-Post/Spam
Please only post your content/thread once in a row. We may remove duplicate posts. Sometimes, new Reddit accounts (or accounts with low 'karma') get automatically removed by automod. We ask that if this happens to your content/threads, please bear with us! A volunteer moderator will eventually review it and approve (or deny) it. Posting multiple times in a row or 'spamming' your post will not help, and all of the posts may get clogged into the modmail queue. Please have patience with us! :)
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
