- Be respectful, even when disagreeing
Open debate is encouraged. Personal attacks, harassment, or bigotry (sexist, racist, etc.) will get you booted. 🟢 You can call someone wrong. You can’t call them a slur - Humor, snark, and hot takes are welcome — just don’t be a troll
We allow edgy or humorous content — this isn’t a safe space for delicate sensibilities. But if you’re only here to provoke or derail conversations, you’ll be removed - No spam, self-promotion, or bots

Even if it’s public — don’t share names, photos, or identifying info without permission. This will result in a ban. - NSFW or sensitive topics must be marked
If your post includes sexual content, graphic violence, or sensitive themes — use the NSFW tag or flair appropriately. Don’t be gross for shock value
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
