- Be Civil
Don't be a Dickhead. /r/CarltonBlues is a place for Carlton fans on reddit. Do not attack other users, don't personally attack players/coaches or injury cheer. Other teams supporters are welcome, but if you're just here to start arguments or be a dickhead your content will be removed and you may be banned - Zero tolerance for Racism, Sexism, Homo/Transphobia etc
All racist and sexist slurs are banned. Messages containing slurs or banned words will be deleted and you will be warned. Repeat offenders and people who defend their use of discriminatory language will be indefinitely banned. - Illegal streams
Do not post links to illegal streams or torrents of AFL matches. This is a reddit sitewide rule. If it is required Private Message someone, do not post it in the subreddit. - Privacy & Doxxing
Respect the privacy of users, do not name or post the location or personal information of other users without their express permission. - No trolling or brigading other team subreddits
We don't like opposition fans gloating here, don't do it to them either. Team subreddits are supposed to be semi-private areas for fans of footy. Don't be a dickhead elsewhere or you may be banned here. - No gambling content
Please do not post gambling content, it is harmful to younger users or those with gambling addictions. Besides, it doesn't make football any better.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
