  3. Keep Discussions Relevant and Focused
3.1 Our goal is to create a welcoming space for Keralites around the world. Engage in discussions that are lighthearted, positive, and foster a sense of community. 3.2 Focus submissions on the everyday life, interests, hobbies, and shared experiences of Keralites. Feel free to share jokes, stories, personal anecdotes, favorite pastimes, cherished memories, fun observations, rants, shower thoughts, daily encounters, and personal triumphs, though the list is definitely not limited to these!

4.1 Submissions seeking friends, chats, partners, dates, sexting, R4R, or similar activities are not permitted. 4.2 Pornography or NSFL content, including violence, death, blood, gore, distressing imagery, and any discussion or encouragement of self-harm or suicide, is prohibited. 4.3 Avoid sharing or providing misinformation, especially on critical topics such as healthcare. 4.4 Seeking companions, meetups, hangouts, or tag-along activities (romantic or platonic) are not permitted.
  5. Promotion, Solicitation, and Meta Discussions
5.1 Promotions of external subreddits, Discord servers, social media, business ventures, or personal projects are not allowed. This includes advertising, spam, and solicitation. Subreddit promotions require prior modmail approval. 5.2 Buying, selling, trading goods, items, or services of any kind strictly prohibited. 5.3 Discussion about users, moderators, moderation decisions including bans and content removal whether related to r/Coconaad or any other subreddit is prohibited.

Instead, use the report feature to address concerns discreetly. 6.3 Be sure to select the appropriate reason when reporting or use the custom text option if the reason is not listed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
