  2. HOMEOWNERS NEEDING HELP OR OPINION—Keep posts to a 1/4 Page and 3 photos max
    Homeowners who come to this sub for help with a contractor issue. YOU MUST state: (1) WHAT TYPE OF PERSON did you hire or are hiring (carpenter/ handyman/ neighbor/ family). (2) HOW MUCH you paid or will pay them. (3) LOCATION- STATE/CITY in the post title or first sentence of the post. We ask because job cost changes from NYC to rural Kentucky. (4) KEEP IT BREIF. Your saga is another day for us. We're not reading a novel. Get to the point.
  3. No DIY
    If you have a question about how to do some project, this is the wrong sub. Suggesting people do a project themselves is not allowed. There are many other subs dedicated to DIY. This sub is for contractors to talk to other contractors about their business practices.
  4. Don't be a shithead. Racism, and blatant attacks are not tolerated
    If you think your post might be a "little" racist don't put it here. Put on your big boy pants and post something that isn't racist. Blatant attacks are not tolerated. Light ribbing is acceptable. A little razzledazzle is part of this work. If you can't handle that go work at a bank.
  5. No politics.
    No political discussion. There are other subs for that. No one is changing anyone's mind. Bringing that up is looking to start a fight.
