What its rules say about promotion

No begging or advertising
No beggars on this corner of the internet. If your account has references to donations, “$$ help,” subscriptions, wishlists, or asks for money for you (even if not posted in this sub), you’re running a for-profit fundraising presence and will be banned until those references are removed. Ads for tangible items that are useful to ALL sub members are exempt.
All 13 rules of r/CrossDressRealism
  1. SFW - Stay Classy
Stay Classy and appropriate. Read the rules and look at the posts and get a feel for the goals here prior to posting. If you would get pointed at in public, it maybe a sign it's not classy. ”Mommy, look at that.. " is a definite removal. Photos with angles up skirts/dresses, make sure we see breasts, "buldges", "toys", are definitely not classy. All posts must be deemed "Classy" by the moderators. They are the final judge.
  2. Altered Photo/No Photo Editor used
ONLY allowed modifications to posted pictures are Contrast, brightness, or color balance changes to make picture look more normal. Hiding face or identifying marks that will identity you with a graphic or solid color is ok. Changing background to protect location identification is allowed. It MUST be easy to tell that this was done. Filters, other changes including merging pic into one pic, AI, or borders are not allowed! More... https://www.reddit.com/r/CrossDressRealism/s/nvnnBZouQU
  3. No Blurry Pics Allowed.
it is 2026, all cameras have the ability to take high megapixel photos. No longer an excuse for poor pictures in today's world. Many filters including artificial intelligence capitalize on blurring/mixing pixels that are surrounding modified areas. In our combat against modified photos, we are no longer allowing blurry pictures to be posted to our sub. This rule helps our moderators gain defense against "but my picture is not modified..." To that we say... Then post a clearer picture...
  4. Stocking/Hose Tops/ Up Skirt angle
NO Stocking or Panty Hose tops. Even a touch of it showing is not classy. This blanket rule makes it simpler to keep classy posts. If we see the tops of your stocking, your not dressing classy..... period. Sit like a classy lady, if we see enough to make us check to see if we can see what we are not supposed see, it's not classy!
  6. No Harassment
Be kind, but be honest. This sub is about clothing, makeup, and presenting yourself in public—style feedback, not personal attacks. Negative comments aren’t automatically harassment if they’re professional and respectful. Critique outfits, techniques, colors, fit, and ways to improve toward a more classy look. Don’t comment with insults or “I want to date you/screw you.” Mods have final say.
  7. Duplicates and Spam
Duplicates and Spam Keep posts unique and don't repeat posts seen before by this sub. You may have 5 black outfits but we don't want to see all 5! Keep viewers interested with different looks.
  8. Cis Girl posting as CD
This sub is for cross dressers. if your a cis gender dressing as your birth sex, it will removed.
  9. Sexuality Signals
Some subs have hijacked the peace sign and pointer fingers touching tip to tip. Pointer fingers touching tip to tip is a signal to others that your gay. (Member touching member) "Peace sign" is used to signal your Bisexual. "goes both ways" thus the two fingers. For this reason we don't allow either in posts. Not a dating site so we don't need to know your sexuality.
  10. I'm Classy Flair
Some members are above and beyond or "Classy" and practice it in ALL of their posts across ALL subs on Reddit. These embers are awarded the "I'm Classy" flair that appears after the user name wherever it shown on our sub. When receiving comments or tips from these users you can assume that they know class. If you think you qualify here, ask and a mod will review all your posts. Posting un-classy content anytime will make you loose this prestigious Flair.
  11. Choose the correct flair when posting
Choose the correct flair when posting
  12. Stay on Topic/Not a Dating Site
This is not a place to look for bf/gf or a night out/Dating. Most groups like ours becomes a trashy place is you allow posts that attract flies. You know what we mean.
  13. Remember our goals. Look realistically as the gender your dressed as.
This sub is for requesting opinions and help from others to help you pass better in public. If you're posting pictures of yourself with either a beard or short hair that clearly says I'm a guy, then you're just not within the spirit of this sub.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
