No Self Promotion or Solicitation
Do not post promotions/links to any product or service you created or are selling, to include apps or other tools. Do not solicit funds (this includes sharing Go Fund Me links). Do not solicit responses to surveys, votes, etc, regardless of purpose. Do not solicit comments or stories for your own content creation; be it blog, news article, youtube, etc.

  1. General Daddit
    This is a sub for dads helping dads. Any post or comments which runs counter to this ideal will be subject to removal and bans as deemed necessary. We welcome the input of mothers, with the condition that they keep in mind and respect our primary purpose.   2. r/Daddit is a SFW sub
    No NSFW content is permitted. Nudity, defined as below the waist, is not permitted.
  3. No Self Promotion or Solicitation
    Do not post promotions/links to any product or service you created or are selling, to include apps or other tools. Do not solicit funds (this includes sharing Go Fund Me links). Do not solicit responses to surveys, votes, etc, regardless of purpose. Do not solicit comments or stories for your own content creation; be it blog, news article, youtube, etc.
  4. No Violence
    Any talk of violence will result in a ban. We do not allow discussion or child abuse or corporal/physical punishment.
  5. No Circumcision Discussion
    This topic generates high emotions on both sides and creates disharmony in our sub.
  6. No Politics
    This is not a sub for political discussion. There are plenty of other places on Reddit where you can engage in lively debate or even arguments if you want. This isn't one of them. Keep your politics out of r/Daddit. Moderators reserve the right to approve posts containing political content if it is pertinent to parenthood or fatherhood.
  7. No Bigotry
    r/Daddit is a welcoming place for everyone, from every background. Participation here should be inclusive and safe for all. Violations will result in permanent bans with no appeal.
  8. No Meta Posts
    If you have questions or feedback to provide regarding the sub, please use the modmail link to contact us directly. Meta posts will be removed and may result in bans.
  9. No Trolling
    Don't be a troll. Don't feed the trolls
  10. No Low Effort Posting
    The goal at r/daddit is to have quality posts that spark quality discussions. Posts that consist of just a title, a meme, etc. will be removed.
  11. No AI or Bot Posts
    Posts significantly composed by AI or show indications of Bot activity will be removed, and continual violations could lead to a ban from the sub. If you can't take the time as a human being to articulate questions/advice, successes, milestones, etc, then our community shouldn't take the time to address it.
