A subreddit for guys to exchange advice, success stories, get over rejection, or just play with ideas for attracting and interacting with women on both a physical and emotional level.
What its rules say about promotion
No dating advice videos that are low effort or give off unhealthy advice
I know, everybody wants to be a dating coach on YT but your videos can't be just some slideshows with generic dating text on it or videos that promote shit behavior like treating women bad, drugging them, being sexist etc.. These type of videos are not tolerated and if posted repeatably result in a ban.
All 8 rules of r/datingadviceformen
- No bitching about women
This is NOT a community where to bitch about women! This includes comparing women to men in a negative light - both have pros and cons in dating life. All posts and comments that give off that vibe will be deleted and if the rule is violated multiple times result in a ban. - No bullying!
We are all trying to get help or share advice on this sub. Insulting mods or other redditors is not tolerated and will result in a swift ban. - This is r/datingadviceformen not for women
While women are allowed to comment on the topics, this is a sub where men ask/share advice to other men. This means that posts where women ask advice about a guy isn't allowed. - No dating advice videos that are low effort or give off unhealthy advice
I know, everybody wants to be a dating coach on YT but your videos can't be just some slideshows with generic dating text on it or videos that promote shit behavior like treating women bad, drugging them, being sexist etc.. These type of videos are not tolerated and if posted repeatably result in a ban. - No posting of pictures of people who aren't you
Posting pictures about other people is not allowed. Asking if a girl who you are interested in is pretty on the picture or if others would smash her is not allowed. Breaking this rule multiple times results in a ban. - No posting porn/dating ads/snapchat, OF invites etc
No posting links to webcam sites/porn sites/chat apps/OF accounts etc. This community is about dating advice not for posting porn or getting guys to your OF/snapchat etc account. - No racism/homophobic/political etc BS!
This should be understood without saying but please be polite and respectful to each other and stay on topic! This includes posts that focus heavily on the race of the OP. - Moderator discretion
Some content may be removed and users banned on moderators discretion in order to keep the sub healthy. Some posts, comments & users may not explicitly violate any specific rule but would otherwise damage the ecosystem of this sub. If you follow the rules and keep a positive tone in your posts and comments then you have nothing to worry about.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
