No linking or mentioning of your website, IG, products, FB Marketplace listings, or posting of items to sell in posts or comments. Even if you don't share a link, if it's clear that your post is to promote your business, website, YouTube, or your own subreddit, it will be removed. Removal will be at the mods' discretion. If your post or comment is removed, no need to message the mods about it. If you have a business to advertise, you can buy ads on Reddit (or Google, or Facebook, etc.)
No selling
If you have something to sell, post it to a selling subreddit located in your town or city, or to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, a local FB group, Craigslist, or Etsy. That's where buyers go. They don't come here looking for things to buy. includes giveaways.

    Please stick to 1/12 scale dollhouse miniatures. This sub is for hobbyists to share ideas and ask questions. Off-topic posts will be removed.
  2. No rapid-fire posts
    You may post your own content once a week. If you’re sharing multiple photos from the same project (rooms, angles, step-by-step), please combine them into one post/carousel. Please don’t make multiple separate posts in a short window.
  3. No self-promotion.

  6. Low-quality posts will be removed
    Low-quality include but are not limited to: - Repetitive posts (including posting to multiple subs), off-topic posts, and posts without a descriptive title or caption. - Poor quality photos, screenshots, stock photos, or no photo when asking a specific question. - Blind links or anything that sounds like AI or engagement bait. - Crossposts where the original post and caption cannot be viewed on r/dollhouses. - NSFW content is not allowed.
  7. Be polite!
    Don't be rude. This sub is for sharing our creations and helping each other. Posts and comments breaking this rule may be removed at the moderators discretion.
  8. Copyright infringement
    Don't post content that belongs to someone else. Repeat violations of this rule will result in a ban.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
