    We don't allow: * Missing-Disappearing after posting a discussion, posting for another with inadequate information * Pumping-Pushing speculative, volatile, or illiquid investments, especially flippantly, tersely, or implying huge returns * Rabble rousing-We're not your personal army * Doxing-Posting personal information, dox attempts/threats * Flooding-Posting excessively frequently * Duplicates-Reposting news or information * Plagiarism-Not giving credit properly * Content policy violations
  11. Deleting Threads
    People post here to help others - not just the OP of the thread, but anyone who might read it. It is disrespectful to those who help you to delete your threads or comments. We understand the desire for privacy, which is why we have no rule against creating a throwaway account you use only for your financial affairs.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
