What this page is
This page quotes r/FantasyPL's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/FantasyPL's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? r/FantasyPL is dedicated to all things FPL, the official fantasy game of the Premier League.
What its rules say about promotion
Money Leagues/Transactions
For safety of all users, advertising money leagues is strictly prohibited.
All 9 rules of r/FantasyPL
- All posts must be relevant to Fantasy Premier League
This is an FPL sub. Discussion of broader issues within football belongs in a different forum such as /r/soccer. Posts that break this rule would include discussion of players or teams in other leagues, debates around football's laws or governing bodies, and transfer speculation. This rule will be less strictly enforced during international windows and summer breaks. - No Rate My Team posts
Please DO NOT put Rate My Team posts or questions about your team on the main sub feed. Please post them in the dedicated pinned daily Questions/Advice/RMT thread. To find it sort by 'hot' and it will be at the top. Any RMT threads posted outside this thread will be removed - No Rumours/Unreliable Leaks/Paper Talk
Please post only confirmed news, this sub wants to have a reputation for reliable news. 1. COMPLETED transfers from reliable sources, such as official club statements are welcome. Paper talk and rumours of potential transfers will be removed. 2. Team/injury news that is confirmed and comes from trusted and reliable sources is welcome. Speculation/rumours/suspect sources will be removed - Fake Goals/Injuries/Substitution
Anyone commenting a false goal/injury/substitution in the sub will be temporarily banned - Personal Performance Post
Personal Performance Posts are not allowed, because of the huge number of people using this sub. If you want to share your GW score, please use the Matchday/Rant threads - Toxic Behaviour
Persistent baiting, trolling, or abusive behaviour towards other users is not tolerated. Doing so may result in a temporary or permanent ban, at the moderators discretion. Any type of discrimination, racism, homophobia or jokes about rape, paedophilia etc, will be removed and the commenter permanently banned. "It's a meme" is NOT an excuse - Money Leagues/Transactions
For safety of all users, advertising money leagues is strictly prohibited. - Meme/Shitpost/Low Effort Posts
Memes and shitposts/low effort posts will be removed. Please post any memes in r/FPLmeme. Please put effort into your threads, rather than low effort "filler filler filler" posts - No links to Twitter/PayPal sites
For team lineups, please post a screenshot, not a Twitter link Any Twitter links will be deleted. The same goes for any site which requires sign-up to access the information Screenshots of the information is acceptable
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
