What this page is
This page quotes r/FTMventing's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/FTMventing's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

- its rules on Reddit
For Trans Men and Mascs under the FTM umbrella to air their grievances and get things off their chest. NOT for drama, controversial topics, or venting about other subreddits!
What its rules say about promotion
No solicitation, including: Research, Business, Relationships, Sex, or others.
Here is not the place to self promote or look for a relationship. Just don't.
All 9 rules of r/FTMventing
- No transphobia, chaser content, or trolling
This place is for trans men to vent. Not chasers, transphobes, or trolls. You can vent about transphobia or chasers as long as you add the proper tw - Flair posts, tag NSFW, and use TWs
Use the proper flairs, tag if there's any NSFW (including genitals and sex), and add TWs. We use the tw list at r/FTM to decide what needs to be given a TW. This is to prevent this from becoming a lawless cesspool - No drama, shit-stirring, or bigotry
This space is not the place to vent about how you hate X or how Y has it better, or Z is indirectly causing you the most harm by existing. No linking to or mentioning other subreddits. This will only attract them to this sub. - No body-shaming, clocking, or insults about surgeries
This is not a place to bash surgery techniques or other peoples passability. If you personally do not like the look or function of a surgery, refrain from using negative terms to describe what is other people's goals or body. Use phrases like "The look/functionality of X surgery is not for me" or "I feel that Y surgery will not help my dysphoria" - This is a FTM specific space.
Binary trans men and nonbinary transmasc are welcome here, but this is not the place for cis people or trans women/fems. - No misinformation
If your post contains misinformation about trans people, surgeries, or hormones, it will be removed to prevent the spread of misinformation. - No Suicide or Self-harm posts
https://988lifeline.org/help-yourself/lgbtq/ https://translifeline.org/ This sub is not crisis equipped, nor are the mods equipped to handle these types of things. Help is available, and there is nothing wrong with asking for help, but please do not post these things here. - No solicitation, including: Research, Business, Relationships, Sex, or others.
Here is not the place to self promote or look for a relationship. Just don't. - Be kind. No arguing or insults.
This a place to vent and move on. Do not come to someone's post to be rude or unkind. Be respectful when replying.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
