This page quotes r/gallifrey's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/gallifrey's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

These rules are not definitive. Read and follow Gallifrey's full [posting policies](https://www.reddit.com/r/gallifrey/wiki/policies) for more detailed guidelines, including on self-promotion and reposts. - No piracy-related content
Due to Reddit's site-wide rules, we don't allow practical discussion of piracy, except for fully-licensed material that cannot be obtained legitimately. This includes directing people to semi-legitimate sites like Dailymotion. Talking about piracy is fine, but don't link to illegal streaming, download, or torrent sites, or encourage people to use those services in the abstract.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
