Too much Self Advertising
While we support new content from cover artists/remixers and composers, it'd be best if the subreddit isn't deluged with content from one person. This will result in posts being removed until 3 posts are left. This only counts the posts in /r/gamemusic, reports because the poster also posted several times in other subreddits will be ignored.

- Music must be from a game
Music posted should be from the original soundtrack of a released or upcoming game. Unreleased or cancelled soundtracks are allowed. Remixes are allowed. Original content inspired by games is allowed, as long as it sounds as if it could have come from a video game. "Music to play games to" posts that are unrelated to game music will be removed. - Don't discuss piracy or share download links
>Please don't request links or post links for illegal music downloads. Morality of pirating game OSTs that are nowhere to buy is something everyone has to face alone, or in piracy-dedicated subreddit. >Don't use URL Shorteners / Referal links either, if I don't know where it takes, I don't wanna go there. >Requests on where to buy video game music are allowed. - Incorrect Title Format
>Please set your originals as "OC". The title should reference that it's inspired by a particular game/series or that it's from a game that has failed to release/been canceled. >If it's a remix/cover/OST, then the title should include the game title next to song name. >If you want to share a VGM related channel, please try to include the name of the person who owns it. Preferably don't share a link to channel, but to one of their songs. - Too much Self Advertising

If your content is considered hurtful, abusive, or attempting to elicit a negative reaction then will be removed. If you're a repeat offender, you will be banned. - No AI generated content
AI generated content is not allowed and will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
