What its rules say about promotion

No sale/trade/beg posts
This is not a marketplace. Don't try to sell games/codes here. Don't try to trade games/codes here. Don't beg for games/codes. There's plenty of relevant subreddits for that.
Self Promotion
*""It's perfectly fine to be a redditor with a website, it's not okay to be a website with a reddit account.""* ~[Reddit Self-Promotion Guidelines](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion) Reddit cites a 10:1 ratio for self-promotion. The short explanation of this rule means that you should participate in the subreddit, not just submit links to your channel or site and leave. Content should also be original work (no re-uploads) and be more than a simple recap of a video/article.
No Cheats.
Glitches existing in-game are ok to discuss, but threads advertising services or apps for cheats are forbidden. When in doubt, ask the mods first.

  10. Follow Reddiquette

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
