The rights and interests of the child
Promotion of harmful practices (e.g. homeschooling as an anti-vaccination strategy, extremist indoctrination, racial/sexual intolerance) substandard pedagogy (e.g. anti-evolution "learning", junk content) or child abuse in any form (e.g. child shaming, physical violence as discipline, FGM or grooming) is not welcome here. Try it, and we will act swiftly to remove the content, and depending on the severity of the issue, ban the user or actively and doggedly refer the matter to law enforcement.
No advertising
Makers of pedagogy, learning management systems or parent support apps are welcome to post, even talk about their apps. But be careful - if we feel that a post or comment has turned into a sales pitch, it will be removed, and repeat offences will result in a ban.

We may not always agree, but conversations and posts should always be respectful. Trolling, making threats, intolerance or just behaving rudely will result in post/comment removal or ban, at the mod's discretion. - Growth, not attacks or defences
You may be tempted to make a political post, or rail against homeschool doubters and detractors. Please don't. Instead, prove naysayers wrong by lifting the standard of homeschooling practice around the world. - The rights and interests of the child

We want to hear your stories, but we also want to respect your privacy. Identifiable information - including photos of your children where they are too young to consent, will sadly be deleted to protect the community.
