What this page is

This page quotes r/indianyoutubers's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-04. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/indianyoutubers's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? All 8 rules of r/indianyoutubers
  1. Spamming your Content
This is not a place to spam your content. We are fellow creators, not your audience. Repeated violations may result in a temporary ban.
  2. Sub4sub or similar staff
This is not a place for sub4sub or similar stuff.
  3. Civil to fellow redditors
Please be civil to other members. We do not tolerate hate speech, doxing, harassment, or personal attacks. If you see such comments, please report them.

  5. Follow Reddit Rules:
All Reddit sitewide rules apply. Ensure your posts and comments comply with them.
  6. This Community Is for Creators
r/IndianYouTubers is a community for YouTube creators to discuss their own content, ask for feedback, share creator experiences, and exchange tips, advice, and resources related to growing a YouTube channel. Posts that are primarily about discussing other YouTubers, YouTube drama, or individual creators are not allowed. For those discussions, please use r/YouTubeIndia instead.
  7. Low-Effort or Low-Value Content
Moderators may remove posts that are considered low-effort, repetitive, or provide little to no useful value to the community. This includes content that does not meaningfully contribute to discussion, information, or the purpose of the subreddit. Moderators may use their discretion when determining whether content is sufficiently useful or relevant to the community.
  8. Feedback, Help & Achievement/Revenue Posts
Posts must include details about the channel and the type of content/videos. You may hide the channel name and video title, but you must mention what the videos are about so the community can provide useful feedback and help.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
