/r/interactivefiction is a community that welcomes discussion of all types of interactive fiction. Feel free to ask for or give recommendations, to ask for help in authoring or finding interactive fiction, to link to posts about interactive fiction, to share interactive-fiction inspired artwork, or to advertise your own work (please limit to once a week or less) or jams and competitions.
Where to post: Normal post linking your new interactive-fiction game or project, no more than once a week

Don't link to interactive fiction containing material that violates Reddit's terms of service, or to sites containing a great deal of such material. This includes illegal content, hate speech, etc. - No NSFW media or post titles
All NSFW posts should be flaired as NSFW, and titles should be SFW. If your game name is itself inappropriate, don't use it in the title, although the body of the post is fine. - AI-generated content and discussion belongs in other subreddits
There are several subreddits dedicated to AI-enhanced interactive fiction. One suggestion is r/ChatGPTGaming. This subreddit is meant for discussions about interactive fiction made without the use of AI tools. - Please keep discussion to interactive fiction
There are many definitions of interactive fiction. This subreddit takes the definition that Interactive Fiction means games or interactive stories that are centered on text. Some graphics-heavy games that are adjacent to text games (like adaptations of text games, games by text IF creators, or games with combinations of heavy text and video gameplay like Disco Elysium or Sunless Sea) are also appropriate.
