What this page is

This page quotes r/LawSchool's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/LawSchool's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

No self-promotion
Self-promotion in any capacity is prohibited
All 8 rules of r/LawSchool
  1. 0L posts must be made in the 0L sticky
This sub is meant for current and former law students to discuss law school and the legal industry. Posts from those not yet enrolled in law school should be made in the 0L sticky at the top of the sub, in r/lawschooladmissions or in r/LSAT.
  2. No bigotry, racism, or hatred of any nature
Bigotry, racism, and hatred of any nature will be removed, and a ban will be issued at the option of the moderator, depending on severity of the violation.
  3. No personal attacks
Personal attacks are not allowed. Personal attacks are defined as attacks on a user's person, not their idea. "Your argument is stupid," is fine. "You are stupid," is not fine.
  4. Memes are allowed only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday
Memes, MFW, MRW, and other such posts will only be allowed on Meme weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).
  5. No non-law school homework help or legal advice
  6. No self-promotion
Self-promotion in any capacity is prohibited
  7. No Twitter or other sites on which CSAM is known to circulate
Don't link to places on which CSAM proliferates.
  8. Don’t direct people to legal advice subreddits

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
