Image Sources. You may post images that are not yours for inspiration purposes, but they must follow the rest of the rules about photos and you must provide the source and clearly mark that you are not the creator. - Keep low effort, off-topic, and simple question posts in the weekly thread.
This subreddit is for makeup, not skincare, haircare, fashion, nails, or general beauty topics. While these areas are related and there is much overlap in their communities, we have opted for staying a makeup-centric space that prioritizes application technique and constructive criticism. Topics such as "how to be prettier," "rate me," color seasons, and so forth can be posted in our weekly thread or other subreddits. Face/eye shape and undertone identification requests must include a look. - Moderators reserve the right to make decisions in the best interest of the sub.
