What this page is

This page quotes r/MoneyDiariesACTIVE's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/MoneyDiariesACTIVE's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 6 rules of r/MoneyDiariesACTIVE
  1. Self-edit your own diary before posting
Please use formatting to make your diary easy to read, and select the appropriate post flair. Feel free to post follow ups. BEFORE YOU SUBMIT, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT R29. NOBODY WILL BE EDITING YOUR DIARIES TO ENSURE IT'S NOT TOO REVEALING. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH ALL DETAILS SHARED.
  2. No doxxing, outing, or posting of other people's identifying info
NO DOXXING, OUTING, GUESSING AT OR HINTING AT OTHER PEOPLE'S IDENTIFYING INFO. Diaries are anonymous. Don’t share names or details about diarists that could be used to identify them, like specifics of where they live and work. Don't hint at where to find info or offer to share in DMs. It’s generally fine to guess at and discuss things like stores, restaurants, and neighborhoods. Use common sense, be respectful and don't be creepy! PLEASE REPORT COMMENTS THAT YOU FEEL BREAK THIS RULE.
  3. Posting MDs and starting discussions is limited to women, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming folks
Posting MDs and starting discussions is limited to those who identify as women, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming folks.
  4. Commenting is open to everyone. Men should identify themselves.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
