  2. No elitism
    Be welcoming to everyone! Our community thrives when we support each other. Treat newcomers with kindness, avoid elitism, and encourage inclusive, positive participation. Whether you're a long time member or just starting out, everyone's contribution is valuable and deserves respect.
  3. No low-effort content
    Try `:help` and `:helpgrep` before you post to see if the documentation can answer your question. Post titles should include useful context. When asking for help, try to give as much context as possible. Describe your issue, and explain what you have already tried to solve it yourself. If an error message prompts you to do something, do that before posting. If it did not resolve your problem, include that in your post.
  4. No witch hunting
    Do not encourage or participate in targeted harassment, doxxing, or any attempts to mobilize others to attack or harass individuals or groups.
  5. No duplicate content
    Please do not post the same, or similar, content multiple times within a short time frame. Search the subreddit before posting. Question that have been answered multiple times already like "Why Neovim", and "Neovim vs X" are not allowed.
  6. No getting started posts
    "How do I get started" posts are not allowed. Please read the getting started wiki and only ask specific questions when you get stuck.
  7. No soliciting/spamming/selling
    Do not use this subreddit to advertise, promote products or services, or engage in any form of unsolicited messaging or spamming.
  8. No plagiarism
    Sharing other people's work, partially or in full, as your own results in an immediate ban. This includes GitHub repos that contain significant amount of code taken from other places without proper credit.
