* Submissions with your own or affiliated content is only allowed as a link and if you are under 10% of submitted promotional content across Reddit. Also only one promotional content post per day. * Taking compensation in exchange for posting on the subreddit is forbidden. Compensation could be, among other things, free games, money, or Reddit gildings.

- Rule 1: Quality
Following is ruled by moderator discretion: * Posts must be in English * No low-effort posts *"View was Okay" now reserved for Mondays * Concept packs, Wishlist's, and pack speculation, "What you want to see in Planet Zoo 2" posts are only allowed on Wednesdays. (UK time) * Giveaways, competitions & charity events must be approved by moderators. Real Life Zoo Posts are reserved for Monday's *Announcement Posts - Must be titled clearly and correctly ex: "Animal Pack | Coming Date" - Rule 2: No attacks or unnecessarily aggressive posts
During discussion, *attack the argument, not the person*. * Follow [Wheaton's Law](http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/wheatons-law). * Threatening, harassing, or bullying will not be tolerated. * Implicit or explicit derogatory language, hate speech of any form will not be tolerated. *No needlessly hostile or provocative posts Posts that are unnecessarily confrontational, aggressive, or framed in a way that invites arguments rather than discussion may be removed. Keep the tone respectful. - Rule 3: No duplicating posts within 24 hours
To prevent flooding of the same post or content: exact duplicates or similar discussion topics in a submission will be removed if posted within a 24 hour timespan of another. To make our job easier, please report both posts at the same time so we can redirect easier. - Rule 4: Must be about Planet Zoo
Post titles, images, and text must contain Planet Zoo content at all times. Posts falling into the following categories are also allowed as long as a *clear* effort for an active discussion about Planet Zoo is made: * Frontier Developments, dev team, or officially licensed partners Submit as a text-post to ensure Planet Zoo is the focus if a link cannot suffice. - Rule 5: Use the Weekly QnA for simple questions
Questions that can be answered in one or two comments should be posted to the Weekly Q&A. Please remind yourself before submitting a post whether the question is better suited there. - Rule 6: Meet promotional content requirement

Any posts that are asking for others to buy things for them or asking how to pirate the game will be removed. - Rule 9: Follow Reddit Site Rules and Reddiquette

Also not allowed are: * General spam comments, such as copy-pastes or barely-legible fonts. * Link shorteners. * Complaining about downvotes.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
