Can you promote on r/rapbattles?

No rule mentions promotion None of its rules mentions self-promotion. That is not permission: read every rule, say plainly that it's yours, and make the post useful on its own.

  1. Bootleg
    Posting unofficial releases of battles is strictly prohibited. Requesting bootlegs in comments or via a PM link or linking directly to a page hosting bootlegs is also a bannable offence. Streaming a ppv or "watch parties", even if you paid for it, is against the rules.
  2. Repost
    Reposts of battles that are less than twelve months old will be removed. Please limit yourself to posting a maximum of two "throwback" battles per day.
  3. Personal Information
    Please do not post any personal information, this includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers as they can be traced back to the original account holder. If somebody posts something you want to share on Facebook, screenshot it and blur out the names. Public figures including battle rappers are exemptions to this rule.
  4. Posting Battles
    ALL BATTLE UPLOADS MUST INCLUDE **NAMES OF THE BATTLERS** AND **LEAGUE NAME** OR THEY WILL BE REMOVED
  5. No Writing Prompts
    This isn't a text battle sub. Use the What's Line threads.
  6. No low effort posting.
    Joke threads, memes, images with no real substance, and low effort/low quality posts can and will be removed at the mod's discretion. When making a text post, the body of your post should be at least 2 sentences or it will be considered low effort. If you are posting a meme (when allowed), the caption(s) should actually appear on the image/video not as the title of your post. Repetitive topics can and will be removed if there is already another thread talking about it.
  7. No fantasy booking.
    "I would book Lux vs Mook and like 8 other matches with infinite money " type posts are no longer permitted and will be deleted at moderator discretion.
  8. No AI posts
    AI posts will be removed. Period.
