What this page is

This page quotes r/Referrallinks's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Referrallinks's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Must list referral link in post directly
Include your referral link in the post itself. Posts that ask people to comment "info," DM you, or contact you on Telegram, WhatsApp, or other apps will be removed.
No spam
You may not post your same referral link more than once a week (168 hours), or make more than 3 posts in total during that same time period.
No illegal content
You may only post referral links for legal activities. Promotion of illegal activities is prohibited.
No account selling or ID verification for others
Don't buy, sell, rent, or verify accounts for someone else, and don't offer paid "verification tasks." These are common fraud setups and will be removed.
All 7 rules of r/Referrallinks
  1. Must list referral link in post directly
Include your referral link in the post itself. Posts that ask people to comment "info," DM you, or contact you on Telegram, WhatsApp, or other apps will be removed.
  2. No spam
You may not post your same referral link more than once a week (168 hours), or make more than 3 posts in total during that same time period.
  3. No illegal content
You may only post referral links for legal activities. Promotion of illegal activities is prohibited.
  4. NO ASKING FOR UPVOTES
Asking for upvotes will result in a permanent ban. We will no longer be repealing these bans.
  5. No account selling or ID verification for others
Don't buy, sell, rent, or verify accounts for someone else, and don't offer paid "verification tasks." These are common fraud setups and will be removed.
  6. No NSFW content or nudify tools
No sexual content, including AI "nudify" or undressing bots, apps, or sites.
  7. Posting requirements
To reduce scams, your account must be at least 7 days old and have at least 20 karma to post.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
