What its rules say about promotion
Avoid excessive paid self-promotion
**paid self-promo** - any content posted with a commercial interest, up to moderator discretion. **excessive** - Posting self-promo more than once a month as an active subreddit user (comments, specifically), or more than once per three months (for non-active users). Examples of paid self-promo: patreon links, "free" resources with upsells, paid finished games. What is fine: project progress, asset feedback (within reason, see rule 5), completely free or open source assets.

Disagreement and being critical is fine, but always try to stay constructive and remember that we're all people. Refrain from insulting other users, directly or implied. - Flag NSFW content appropriately
NSFW content is allowed, but only if it is tagged correctly. - Be descriptive when asking questions
Post code, screenshots, or any other relevant details as applicable! Vague posts with little information to go on may be removed. - Avoid excessive paid self-promotion

This includes making several similar posts in a short timespan (generally one day), posts unrelated to renpy or VN development, posts with just a screenshot or "help me" with no elaboration, etc. What constitutes "spam" or "off-topic" is at mod discretion.
