An unoffical subreddit - the place to discuss Ryanair, ask questions or post pictures of Ireland's largest carrier on Reddit.
What its rules say about promotion
No spam/self promotion
This is not the right place for spam or self promotion. Such as harmful links, posting the same thing in multiple posts and/or comments or promoting a website, a Facebook group and social media accounts. But also following: Repeatedly posting the same or similar comments in a thread, subreddit or across subreddits. Repeatedly posting unrelated/off-topic/link-farmed content.
All 5 rules of r/Ryanair
- Be civil
It’s fine if you dislike other people’s posts, or if you disagree in comments. But always be civil/nice. Don't be rude, i.e. singling out users, using personal attacks or derogatory language, picking fights, trolling, etc. - Stay on topic
Comments that add nothing to the discussion will be removed (e.g. "lol", "this", "I agree", or an emoji). The same if you are going to joke, or be off topic in other ways. If you just want to provoke others, don’t post it here. No low effort posts. No memes, no links without context, vague or misleading titles, posts that are not about Ryanair and so on. Or a post that was not really thought about and does not really hold up to more discussion. - Write in English
All posts and comments need to be in English. We know users speak different languages, but this subreddit’s official language is English - any level welcome! If you post anything in a language other than English you need to also provide a full translation. - No spam/self promotion
- Employment posts
This subreddit concentrates on passenger issues and questions. There are suitable subreddits for questions and discussions regarding pilots and cabin crew for various airlines.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
