All 3 rules of r/sideloadly
- No low-effort posts
A post should have sufficient text in its body to either strengthen the title, create discussion or add more information. - Titles must be clear and accurate
New posts must have a proper descriptive title which contains relevant error messages or brief description regarding the tutorial being posted. - Be Civil
Users are expected to be civil and inclusive towards one another, follow Reddiquette, and abide by Reddit’s Content Policy at all times.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
