Spam and unrelated content are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to referral links, blog spam, pyramid schemes, unpaid jobs, and other forms of spam.

- Civility
Remember that other users here are human too, and one should assume good faith in them. Personal attacks, mudslinging, and other uncivil comments are not welcome. - No Promotions

This is a subreddit for when you have an idea but don't have the skill or the time to build it yourself. - Personal Information
Disclosing personal information is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to phone numbers or email addresses. If you need to provide a piece of private information to another user, do it by private message. - No Spam
Spam and unrelated content are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to referral links, blog spam, pyramid schemes, unpaid jobs, and other forms of spam. - Bots
Bots not providing utility to the subreddit and/or its users are not permitted. What constitutes utility is up to moderator discretion. The moderators will ban unapproved bots and remove their comments.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
