What its rules say about promotion

AI/Art Theft
When you advertise or ask for AI-generated content, you disrespect those who put their time and effort into creating art, and we have zero tolerance for this. Something to consider: When a client commissions an artist, they don't show the art around saying, "I made this myself, using another artist as a tool!" Similarly, when you use AI, you don't create the content yourself. If you advertise content you did not create, we will ban you immediately.
Prohibited Exchange
* No exchange of NFTs, illegal services, or cryptocurrency. * No posts on another person's behalf, as we have no way of knowing if the other person is banned, or if impersonation is involved. This means no businesses or studios. * No advertising external networks, such as Fiverr alternatives or Discord servers. * No commission-based sales, tasks, or recruiting positions.
Professional Conduct
- If you didn't make something, don't advertise it. - Obviously, don't scam. - Don't do illegal things. - Follow Reddit's rules. - Treat others with respect. - If you see something that should be removed, report it instead of starting a fight. - Posts may be removed at a moderator's discretion, but if you feel there has been an error, please reach out to us using the "Message the mods" option, and we will discuss any concerns you have.
Discussion Limitations
[Discussion] posts should not be a disguised attempt to promote your work. This means no posts showcasing recent works or asking for feedback. Discussion topics that become excessively common may be banned as well; this currently includes posts asking for pricing help or asking what a person's art is worth.

  1. Post Formatting
    - Select a post flair that suits the type of post you're making. - Include the flair at the beginning of your post title. - If you are an artist looking for work, show people you're [For Hire] - If you want art, show others you're [Hiring] - For other commission-related discussions, please use [Discussion] * Artists looking to be hired must share a gallery of images or link to their portfolio - one image is not a portfolio
  2. Posting Limits
    - You may only make one [For Hire] post per week. - Multiple [Hiring] or [Discussion] posts are allowed, but our bot can't tell the difference, so you'll need to ask the mods to approve them for you.
  3. Comment Formatting
    When responding to requests, you MUST comment on the post with your portfolio. ASSUME ALL DMs ARE FROM SCAMMERS UNLESS THEY HAVE COMMENTED FIRST. Comments on [Hiring] posts should: * Fulfill the request's requirements. * Include a portfolio. * Be typed by a human. * Not be excessively long. * Include more than just "Sent a DM!" You should only offer your services and share your portfolio if you're able to fulfill the request and have relevant work to show.
  4. Relevancy
    - Posts and comments made in this community should relate to commission work. - Portfolios posted on [Hiring] posts should relate to what is being requested. - Do not request NSFW content from those not offering it, or show it to those not looking. If you can't be bothered to read what a client is requesting, they shouldn't be expected to read what you're offering.
  5. Payment
    * All posts looking for artists or clients must mention a budget or price. * The lowest price that is allowed here is $30 USD or equivalent. * No giveaways, raffles, contests, "exposure", or speculative work. * No crypto, gift cards, prospective pay, checks, payment in video game currency, Nitro subscriptions, or similar.
