All self-promotion posts should be clearly identified.
No sex work or related type of work
- While not all sex work or related type of work is illegal, advertising sexual services may be restricted under Canada's Criminal Code. - Intended to keep this community focused on other types of conventional employment, and restricts gender-based harassment.

    - No unkind/unfair treatment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, etc. (Ontario Human Rights Code). - Being civil and respectful when addressing others.
  3. Politics Minimal
    - Unnecessary political comments that does not add to the discussion or has no relevancy to Toronto Jobs. - Constructive discussions are marked by being actionable and job-market relevant, which may not be the case for pure political commentary. - For example, political comments in a post is asking for job advice may be disallowed for being off topic, but may be more tolerated in posts about the job market in Toronto - Other subreddits exist for such political discussions.

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
