- No low effort posts, or posts without meaningful content - WE ARE NOT WSB
All posts should be able to encourage discussion. All opinions stated within posts should be backed up by factual information, and linked to said information. Low effort posts will be removed Don't post rocket emojis with a video saying stocks will go to the moon, and writing pages of crap DD. Do it somewhere else. - Soliciting Services
Do not solicit services. This includes linking to videos, blogs or websites that demonstrate a trading strategy which then forwards to a paid service. You put "DM me", you're out. - Keep things professional
While everyone loves a good joke or "meme", we will not have the subreddit being overrun with insults, irrelevant jokes, opinions without context and so on. Please keep things professional, and possibly casual. Also, do not make posts asking for personal advice unless it relates to your trading. - No content theft
Please avoid "karma farming" by stealing other users posts and passing them off as your own. We actively check most posts. - All advice must be given in good faith
This is a community dedicated to the sharing of genuine advice. We want to help people prepare for their financial adventures, advice shown to be given in bad faith, ie.pump and dumps, will be removed and the user banned. - Posting trades
We encourage the posting of trades, so long as there is context and analysis of the trade.Users posting empty trades, or account balances without meaning, will have their post removed. - No NSFW content

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
