Can you promote on r/twentyagers?

Self-promotion restricted Its rules restrict self-promotion. Posts that promote your own work are likely to be removed.

What this page is

This page quotes r/twentyagers's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-06. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/twentyagers's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 11 rules of r/twentyagers
  1. No Porn/ Nudes/ No Non-Educational NSFW
Do not post or share porn, nudes, or sexually explicit content. This includes posts meant to provoke or invite sexual discussions (e.g., “What are your fetishes?”). NSFW topics are allowed only if they are focused on, education, advice or genuine discussion. In those cases, you must use the flair “NSFW (Educational/Advice)”. Keep discussions respectful and non-creepy. If your post is mainly sexual, explicit, or intended to arouse, it doesn’t belong here.
  2. Personal Attacks/ Targeted Harassment/ Uncivil Behaviour
Users are expected to engage respectfully and contribute to a positive environment. Harassment, insults, hate speech, slurs, personal attacks, fear-mongering, or calls for harm are not permitted and will be removed.
  3. LGBTQ+ Friendly
If you don't see eye to eye/ are against LGBTQ+/ can't hold a simple conversation without saying a slur towards someone queer - you're not welcome here. That being said, anyone who is open to have a civilized discussion to better understand queer folk and their struggles is welcome to participate.
  4. Teens (18yo/ 19yo) Can Only Interact By Posting With “Advice - Serious” Flair
This is for people in their 20s. People that are either 18 or 19 can only interact by asking questions targeting twentysomethings for educational purposes only (when posting, flair “advice - serious” is mandatory)
  5. No Self Pity Allowed
Complaining about your situation is normal here. The line is drawn when there's no self-compassion, rather stubborn helplessness/ dwelling on victimization. Example: "No one likes me. I don't have any close friends and I don't have a partner in my life. I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life."
  6. No "Rate-Me" posts
No seeking approval/ rating for your current look nor suggestions for what to change. There are better subs to ask this in.
  7. No Low Quality Posts
No posts that can be provided with a non-subjective, clear answer by a simple google search and no filler posts, no spam.
  8. Flair Requirements
Users must have a flair in order to post/ comment; Go to the subreddits’ front page -> click the three dots on the top-right corner -> click on “change user flair” (mobile) Open the subreddit -> right sidebar → user flair -> click edit / pencil icon -> pick flair or type one (desktop)
  9. No Suicide/ Self-Harm Posts
No posts that may directly/ indirectly talk about or mention suicidal tendencies/ self-harm are allowed
  10. Trends and test post
Repetitive trend or test posts may be restricted to designated megathreads at moderator discretion to keep the subreddit organized.
  11. Advertising
If you want to advertise a product or a service, make sure you reach out to us through mod mail.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
