    Brand posts must clearly include: 1. brand name 2. product being offered 3. country/regions eligible 4. what type of content is expected 5. whether shipping is covered 6. how creators should apply Vague posts like “DM us for collab” may be removed.
  4. No misleading or exploitative offers
    Do not post opportunities that are deceptive, unfair, or intentionally unclear. Creators should know upfront what they are receiving and what is expected in return.
  5. No paid, affiliate-only, or commission-only posts
    This is not a marketplace for paid ads, affiliate recruitment, or sales rep outreach. Posts focused mainly on discount codes, commissions, or unpaid selling schemes will be removed.
  6. Creators: no self-promo spam
    Creators may introduce themselves or respond to brand opportunities, but repeated portfolio dumping, mass “DM me” posts, or low-effort self-promotion is not allowed.
  7. Keep communication professional
    No harassment, ghosting callout posts, bullying, or public shaming. If you have a bad experience, message the mods with evidence instead of starting drama threads.
  8. No personal information in public posts
    Do not post emails, phone numbers, addresses, or private contact info publicly. Use DMs or approved application forms when appropriate.
  9. No counterfeit, prohibited, or unsafe products
    No illegal products, counterfeit goods, adult content, dangerous items, or anything that violates Reddit policy.
  10. Mods reserve the right to remove off-topic content
    Posts may be removed if they are off-topic, low effort, spammy, or not aligned with the purpose of the community.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
