What its rules say about promotion

No spam
Excessive promotion, spam, or advertising of any kind is not allowed.
No unregulated immigration advisers / visa agents soliciting clients
No advertising immigration services, “DM me for visa help,” paid application assistance, or guaranteed-success services. If someone recommends an adviser, encourage users to verify their IAA/professional-body status. GOV.UK says immigration advisers must generally be registered with the IAA or an approved professional body.
All 8 rules of r/ukstudentvisas
  1. Respect others and be civil
No harassment, hate speech, or toxic behavior. Treat all contributors and members with kindness.
  2. No spam
Excessive promotion, spam, or advertising of any kind is not allowed.
  3. No pretending to be an immigration professional
Don't claim to be a solicitor, immigration adviser, university representative, or UKVI/Home Office employee unless you can substantiate the claim. Don't give definitive personalised legal advice. Tell users with complicated/refusal/deception/appeal cases to seek qualified advice.

  8. Informational purpose only

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
