What its rules say about promotion
No mass-recruiting or advertising (except in weekly community promotion thread).
r/Valorant_LFG is a personal subreddit. This means that posts which prioritize quantity over quality, break this rule. Any posts or comments containing invite links to a server are auto-removed. If you are playing in a small group, invite links must be sent through private messages. THIS IS NOT A FREE PASS TO BREAK THE NO ADVERTISING RULE. You may advertise/mass-recruit using the weekly community promotion thread only.
No account sharing or selling posts.
We also don't support the following type of posts: intentional feeding, account sharing, buying, selling, trading, hacking, hijacking other players accounts. Sketchy/unsafe websites will be removed at the mod's discretion.

If you are playing in a small group, invite links must be sent through private messages. THIS IS NOT A FREE PASS TO BREAK THE NO ADVERTISING RULE. You may advertise/mass-recruit using the weekly community promotion thread only. - Do not state your gender.
Due to issues with how gender can change how much attention a post gets, we don't allow stating your gender. This is also to avoid getting harassed simply because of your gender. SAME-GENDER SEEKING POSTS ARE THE ONLY EXCEPTION. For example: if you're a female and want only female replies, you MUST state your gender and request ONLY other female Valorant players. If you use this exception, please make it abundantly clear that you only want same-gender replies. Ambiguous posts are removed. - No dating or soliciting type of posts
r/Valorant_LFG does not allow dating-related posts. Do not create posts that target other genders because we will treat that as if they are dating posts regardless of true intentions. Posts seeking same-gender replies are allowed, but must not imply any flirtatious or dating intentions; more details regarding this exception under the "do not state your gender" rule. Dating posts have no place on r/Valorant_LFG, and warrants a ban at the moderators discretion. - No ELO Boosting/Boosting posts.
No ELO-Boosting allowed and you will be banned. As for boosting in general, there is a thin line here. The purpose and intent of our sub is to make friends and generally threads like these creates a lot of negativity within the community. If we determine a thread is only made for the purpose to carry/boost you it'll get removed and those who offer or asks for boosts most likely will get banned. - No account sharing or selling posts.
We also don't support the following type of posts: intentional feeding, account sharing, buying, selling, trading, hacking, hijacking other players accounts. Sketchy/unsafe websites will be removed at the mod's discretion. - Posts must be written in English.
We are unable to moderate content we do not understand so please keep everything in English or it will get removed. - No creepy/nsfw posts or comments.
No posts aimed only towards the opposite gender, no posts about how you "prefer" to play with males or females. Any posts that may come over as predatory, sexual, or the like will be removed out of precaution. No NSFW content, we have young children among our userbase
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
