What its rules say about promotion

No buying, selling, referrals, begging, giveaways or crowd-funding.
No personal buying, selling or trading of hardware, software, or accounts No referral links or codes (including Quest referral programs) No affiliate links to any site No begging for free items or services No crowdfunding campaigns For trading/selling VR hardware: Please use dedicated communities like r/hardwareswap. Giveaways: Must be pre-approved by moderators. Contact the mod team for info.

Sharing your own work is fine. Use a Self-Promotion flair, and don't dress promo up as a discussion thread. Your post needs actual body text, not a bare link or pasted marketing copy. Stick around and answer comments and interact with the community. Limit is 2 promo posts a month; we're reasonable about this during big industry events and releases. No 'Let's Play', 360, or NFT/Crypto content. Repeat offenders will get banned.

  2. Posts must be related to Virtual Reality and must not be low-effort.
    Posts must be on-topic and relevant to Virtual Reality. Not allowed: Showing off posts - Purchases, tracking screenshots & unboxing photos. Requests - Friend requests, looking-for-group, account sharing, etc. Low-Effort Memes - Overused formats, reaction images. Gameplay videos - Short unedited clips with no context. Bare links - Link-only posts. Tell us what it is and why we should care. AI slop - Pasted AI output/Low effort AI output.

  8. Posts seeking advice on compatability/system choice need to meet certain requirements
