What this page is

This page quotes r/vivaldibrowser's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/vivaldibrowser's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

No Self or Product Promotion
Do not use r/vivaldibrowser to promote products, websites, webpages, extensions, etc. without first contacting the mods. Requests will be reviewed, and all decisions are final. Failure to follow these rules will result in removal of the offending post and potentially being banned from the subreddit.
All 6 rules of r/vivaldibrowser
  1. Before asking for help or reporting a bug
When posting, you must include THE FULL VIVALDI VERSION (DON'T SAY "MOST CURRENT VERSION") and OS that you're using. Find Version At: Help:About Failure to provide basic information may result in your post being deleted. Vivaldi has extensive Help. Before asking for help, read the Help! Before asking for help/reporting a bug for Vivaldi (desktop), try testing from a new user profile. (Uninstalling/reinstalling is typically unnecessary, a clean profile usually does the trick).
  2. Post Flairs
Flairs are required when posting. To do that, after you submit your post, click the "Flair" button under it and select a flair. Please select the flair that most closely reflects your topic, especially if your post is specific to Vivaldi being used on a certain OS.
  3. Be helpful and cordial
Rude, vulgar, and/or politically charged posts or replies are subject to removal and may lead to further moderation action. Please, no name calling or insults directed at individuals. Thanks!
  4. Personal Information
DO NOT post personal information, yours or anyone else's. No names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc. No personally identifiable information.
  6. Do not ask about using Vivaldi for illegal purposes or to circumvent network or services rules.
Please do not ask about using Vivaldi products to engage in illegal activities.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
