What this page is
This page quotes r/Workproblems's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-06. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Workproblems's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

- its rules on Reddit
This is a subreddit for posting about dumb things you've been forced to deal with, had a co-worker/boss tell you to do, or any other problems you've had at work. You're also encouraged to reply to anyone wanting advice on work problems. Vent to your heart's content! (Note: This sub is NOT anti-work)
What its rules say about promotion
No links or spam!
Please be mindful that this subreddit is designed as a place for people to vent and get advice on their issues at work. It is not a place for self promotion, the posting of miscellaneous web links, or other spam! Again, please be mindful of the space. Thank you!
All 3 rules of r/Workproblems
- Please be respectful!
We come from all walks of life, and this subreddit is open to all, regardless of personal identity and personal problems. Please be respectful of all! - No links or spam!
Please be mindful that this subreddit is designed as a place for people to vent and get advice on their issues at work. It is not a place for self promotion, the posting of miscellaneous web links, or other spam! Again, please be mindful of the space. Thank you! - Don't break any NDA's!
This isn't a rule that hurts the subreddit or anything. But it's a general rule for anyone working in places that have Non-Disclosure Agreements. If it's clear someone's breaking an NDA, please report it so we can take it down or ask them to take it down before any legal trouble can come their way!
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
