A community for people taking Zoloft (sertraline) to discuss questions, concerns, and success stories. Zoloft is an antidepressant and anti-anxiety medication in the pharmaceutical class SSRI.

What its rules say about promotion

Do not provide users links, handles, or resources for accessing Illicit/Illegal drugs
You may post or comment on how these substances (shrooms, ecstasy, poppers, cocaine, ect.) may interact with Zoloft, or provide your experiences with these drugs while on Zoloft. This rule ONLY pertains to providing users resources to access these items (ex: Instagram usernames or Twitter handles who sell such items) and providing recommendations for users to try these substances.
All 8 rules of r/zoloft
  1. Read the pinned post before asking a question!
  2. Keep it civil and show Respect. Hateful comments or trolling will earn you a ban.
    No exceptions
  3. Do not Diagnose, or Attempt to Diagnose other Users
Diagnosing or attempting to diagnose users is not permitted. Zoloft/Sertraline is used for many different diagnoses, and we are unable to verify if users are medical doctors.
  4. Do not request dosage suggestions or suggest dosages to others
Zoloft is prescribed at a wide range of doses for a wide variety of reasons; nobody online can tell you what dose will be best for you. Talk to your doctor. (This rule does not apply to questions such as "Did this side effect go away after decreasing your dose?") Do not suggest that others change dosage or discontinue Zoloft or any other prescribed medication without consulting a medical professional in a clinical setting.
  5. TW required for posts discussing suicidal ideation
If your post discusses or mentions suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, etc, please use our "Trigger Warning" flair to label your post or put a specific TW (ex. [TW: mention of suicide attempt]) in your post title.
  7. Do not post or comment about any Political topic unless it explicitly pertains to Zoloft/Sertraline
Please refrain from discussing political topics on this sub, unless it directly relates to the use of Zoloft/Sertraline. Users who Comment or post anything pertaining to unrelated Politics will be warned initially. If it continues, further action will be taken.
  8. Misinformation
Posts or comments asserting false or unsupported claims as hard fact will be removed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
