$19.99 total, one time

$19.99 for you, instead of $49. Offer ends October 18.

Buy on your phone. Set up once on your computer with Chrome, a Reddit account, and Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex on your own plan. Your AI service is separate.

  • Reusable Reddit tools: connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex to your Chrome. Your AI can research, write, publish and follow up. You authorize the work.
  • Your included Launch Pack: a community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product. Emailed within 24 hours of your library claim. Claim it before tool setup.

Check setup for my AI and computer
Will it work with my setup?

Choose your AI client and computer to see the steps before you buy. Your AI plan is separate; ThreadFox runs locally through your Chrome.

Claude Desktop · install the extension

  1. Use a Claude Desktop build that supports local extensions. From your private buyer library, download ThreadFox.mcpb, open it with Claude and click Install.
  2. Start a new regular chat. Desktop supplies Python; ThreadFox prepares Node.js if needed. The Code view uses the terminal path instead.
  3. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to your Chrome, sign in to Reddit, then choose Set up ThreadFox under + or type set up ThreadFox.

Linux: Claude Desktop is in beta. Confirm your build offers local extension installation. If opening the file does not offer Install, choose Claude Code or Codex and use the terminal route. Current Linux requirements.

Claude Code or Codex · use your library’s installer

  1. Install and sign in to your AI client on this computer first. It must support local tools.
  2. From your private library, copy the command for your system into PowerShell on Windows, or Terminal on macOS/Linux. Keep the full command private. It installs the tools and registers the supported clients it finds.
  3. Restart the AI client. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to Chrome, sign in to Reddit, and ask your AI to set up ThreadFox.

The installer uses Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+, or downloads checksum-verified copies for supported systems. No administrator rights are needed for the ThreadFox installer. Keep the AI client and Chrome on the same computer.

Use a computer to run the tools

A phone or browser-only chat can read your library and claim the included Launch Pack, but cannot run these local tools. The pack is a one-product plan and three drafts, emailed within 24 hours of your library claim.

Continue on a computer with Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. If you want our team to run the campaign, Managed is a separate service.

Ready means: after the first Chrome tab-selection prompt, the tool check passes and your AI shows the intended Reddit username. Installing a client alone does not prove the connection. Keep normal permission prompts enabled.

Full setup steps & troubleshooting · Already bought it? Open your library

We used ThreadFox to find your Reddit thread. Use the same tools to find useful threads, check the rules, write posts and replies, and follow up. Set it up once on your computer with a compatible AI client, Chrome and your Reddit account. Your AI service is separate. Keep using the tools beyond the three included drafts.

How AI fits in. Your AI runs the tools through your own Chrome. You set the direction and authorize the work. It checks current rules, writes, posts once and follows up. Rules, account limits and AI permission prompts still apply.

We run it on ourselves. On October 13 it brought 1,143 people from Reddit to this site. What it brings you depends on your product and what you say.

ThreadFox browser demo: one test post and reply (October 7, 2026)

I make ThreadFox, a toolkit that connects AI clients to Reddit through Chrome. This is a controlled test in r/test for a product demonstration: the tool fills this text, publishes once, and reads the resulting link. One reply will test the conversation step. No customer or campaign result is being claimed.

Reply (body only)

This is the reply step of the ThreadFox connection test. The tool submitted this through the same signed-in Chrome connection. Product and setup guide: https://threadfox.vip/guide . This is a technical demonstration, not a testimonial or sales result.

Your plan for Threadbase

Threadbase is an open-source, self-hosted tool to manage and monitor Claude Code and Codex sessions from a phone or desktop, with end-to-end encryption.

r/ClaudeAI 1,153,149 members

It allows a post about it on its stated conditions

Why it fits: Its members use Claude and Claude Code, and Threadbase is built to manage Claude Code sessions remotely.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Your post must say what was built, "how Claude helped in detail" and what it does. It must also say the project is free to try, keep promotional language minimal and use the most relevant flair, and the feed requires "OP karma>100".
An opening angle
Describe stepping away while several Claude Code sessions run and checking their status and progress from your phone.
What gets a post removed
Leaving out how Claude helped, not saying it is free to try, using referral links or heavy promotional language, or posting below the karma requirement.

Its rule, word for word:

“Promoting your project or paid service is encouraged if it fit the following criteria:”
  • “clear project was built with Claude/Claude Code or specifically for Claude BY YOU”
  • “include a clear description of what was built, how Claude helped in detail, and what it does”
  • “project must be free to try and say so (paid tiers OK)”
and 6 more in its rules
  • “promotional language minimal”
  • “do not use referral links (link to the project is ok)”
  • “no job seeking requests or resumes”
  • “Posts on the feed now require OP karma>100”
  • “Help others filter posts by their area of interest by choosing the flair most related to its usage group.”
  • “If none fit, or you feel it is of more general interest, choose the flair most relevant.”

It allows a post about it on its stated conditions

Why it fits: Its members care about open source projects, and the whole Threadbase ecosystem is open source and self-hosted.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Any repository you link must have a LICENSE file with an OSI-listed license. Your post should use the "Promotional" flair, and you need to stay and take part in the discussion.
An opening angle
Explain the self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted design and invite feedback and contributions on the repositories.
What gets a post removed
A repository without an OSI-listed license, drive-by posting with no engagement, a sensationalized title, or AI-generated content, which its rules call "ban worthy".

Its rule, word for word:

“We encourage you to be proud of/promote your work to a degree, but we also don't want users using this sub as a link farm to promote their project/website/YouTube channel.”
  • “Reddit recommends that <10% of your posts promote your content.”
  • “We're a *little* more forgiving, but don't take advantage of it.”
  • “Code or repositories linked to MUST have a LICENSE file that MUST be an OSI listed Open Source license: https://opensource.org/licenses”
and 3 more in its rules
  • “Drive-by posts from accounts where there is obviously no intention of engaging in the following discussion may be removed.”
  • “Promotional is when you are sharing a project, yours or otherwise.”
  • “"It's perfectly fine to be a redditor with a website, it's not okay to be a website with a reddit account."”

It allows a post about it on its stated conditions

Why it fits: Its members are makers and developers who share the tools they build, and Threadbase is a developer tool you built.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Your post needs "a short description or context" along with the link, and the community asks you to comment on and give feedback on other people's posts.
An opening angle
Show several Claude Code and Codex sessions watched from one place and ask developers which feature they would want next.
What gets a post removed
Dropping a bare link, or anything that comes across as spam, hate or trolling.

Its rule, word for word:

“This community exists for makers, devs, and founders to share their apps, SaaS, and software projects.”
  • “Just make sure your post includes a short description or context — don’t drop a bare link.”
  • “Comment on others’ posts, give feedback, and celebrate wins together.”

  • “If none fit, or you feel it is of more general interest, choose the flair most relevant.”

Other requirements in its rules:

  • “Do not come here to fix your Anthropic account problem”
  • “Community replies to individual account issues have often caused confusion.”
  • “We have no way of fixing the problem with your account and Anthropic does not respond to account help requests on this subreddit.”
  • “Competitor posts must contain sufficient homework and evidence.”
  • “Competitor posts must satisfy ALL of the following criteria: a) cannot merely ask for a comparison without offering the author's own insights, research, genuine experiences, or evidence of investigation; b) cannot presume one model is better than another without providing detailed, novel evidence demonstrating this in specific instances; c) cannot cite comparative benchmarks without a source d) it cannot use inflammatory language.”
  • “Use relevant post flair”
  • “Help others filter posts by their area of interest by choosing the flair most related to its usage group.”
  • “If none fit, or you feel it is of more general interest, choose the flair most relevant.”
  • “If you post narratives about AI consciousness and experiences, they must be based in grounded research with references OR be clearly marked in the title as fiction to avoid misguiding people in vulnerable mental states AND use the Writing flair.”
All 12 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Be respectful Diversity of opinion is welcome. Controversial opinions are welcome. Personal attacks and harassment are not. Ask Claude for a definition of "good faith discussion for a subreddit" if you're unsure what's acceptable.
  2. Be relevant Stay relevant to the Claude and Claude Code technology and users. We generally don't accept posts of more general AI interest here.
  3. Be constructive. Don't come here to agitate others. Is your post/comment likely to add positively to the knowledge or experience of other readers here? Has it already been shared recently? Is it just designed to agitate others? Cancellation announcements and unsupported rants are not constructive. We also do not allow the organization of legal action on the subreddit.
  4. Use the Megathreads for your recent Claude performance and bug reports/complaints Help us keep track of Claude system performance, limits and bugs by keeping your experiences and reports on the relevant Megathread https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1s7fepn/rclaudeai_list_of_ongoing_megathreads/. This also frees the feed from performance incident flooding. We make occasional exceptions for well substantiated and helpful posts including useful questions. Check first if your issue has been discussed recently.
  5. Do not come here to fix your Anthropic account problem Community replies to individual account issues have often caused confusion. We have no way of fixing the problem with your account and Anthropic does not respond to account help requests on this subreddit. Try their normal support channels. If you believe you were incorrectly charged, talk to your bank about a chargeback.
  6. Competitor posts must contain sufficient homework and evidence. Competitor posts must satisfy ALL of the following criteria: a) cannot merely ask for a comparison without offering the author's own insights, research, genuine experiences, or evidence of investigation; b) cannot presume one model is better than another without providing detailed, novel evidence demonstrating this in specific instances; c) cannot cite comparative benchmarks without a source d) it cannot use inflammatory language. Basically you have to give before you can take.
  7. Showcase your project in a way that helps educate and inspire others Promoting your project or paid service is encouraged if it fit the following criteria: * clear project was built with Claude/Claude Code or specifically for Claude BY YOU * include a clear description of what was built, how Claude helped in detail, and what it does * project must be free to try and say so (paid tiers OK) * promotional language minimal * do not use referral links (link to the project is ok) * no job seeking requests or resumes Posts on the feed now require OP karma>100
  8. Read the Megathreads before you subscribe to Claude We strongly advise you visit the Performance Megathread before purchasing a plan. It is here https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1s7fepn/rclaudeai_list_of_ongoing_megathreads/. Be aware of some of the issues you may face. Claude is a fast evolving technology.
  9. Use relevant post flair Claude has vast amounts of diverse use cases. As a result, often the problems/questions/praise you have for Claude are not shared by others. Help others filter posts by their area of interest by choosing the flair most related to its usage group. If none fit, or you feel it is of more general interest, choose the flair most relevant.
  10. Don't manipulate upvotes Undermining the Reddit voting system is an immediate permanent ban offence. This includes the use of bots. This subreddit has bots in place looking for suspicious activity.
  11. Stay grounded If you post narratives about AI consciousness and experiences, they must be based in grounded research with references OR be clearly marked in the title as fiction to avoid misguiding people in vulnerable mental states AND use the Writing flair.
  12. Be Reddit-compliant This subreddit uses Reddit's default harassment and abuse filters. In addition, you may find yourself or your content removed by Reddit if you don't follow their policies. These can be found below. Reddit content policy: https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy Those discussing the use of Claude for creative writing should pay particular attention to Rules 6, 7 and 4. • “Adding this information into your initial post WILL NOT bypass this requirement.”
  • “Using a different flair to bypass this will result in your post also being removed.”
  • “This subreddit does NOT allow software created by Generative AI and Vibe-coded software.”
  • “Please do not post freeware that has no source code available under a free license.”

Other requirements in its rules:

  • “Use the correct flair for your post type”
  • “Post flair serves to help users identify which content a post may include.”
  • “Certain moderator actions are also triggered based on the post flair.”
  • “Because of this we require all surveys to have mod approval before posting (send a modmail with a link to survey asking for approval).”
  • “Do not promote, encourage, link to, request or offer pirated software and content.”
  • “All posts flaired as a Software Submission are REQUIRED to respond to the automod comment requesting additional information within an hour of posting.”
  • “Using a different flair to bypass this will result in your post also being removed.”
All 10 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Generative AI Use / Vibe-coding This subreddit does NOT allow software created by Generative AI and Vibe-coded software. Why? Please read our wiki page Allowed: - Write documentation - Debug software (Analysis/Explanation Only) - Analyze codebase Not Allowed: - AI Assistance beyond what is mentioned above - All or part of the application being generated by AI
  2. No Spam This subreddit is for discussion of software that respects users freedoms and rights. It is not for you to spam your commercial site or provide a link to some shady site.
  3. Don't be rude This boils down to one simple thing: Don't be an asshole. No name calling, no superiority complexes, no putting others down and so on.
  4. Use the correct flair for your post type Post flair serves to help users identify which content a post may include. Certain moderator actions are also triggered based on the post flair. Make sure to tag your post appropriately. Failure to do so may result in your post being removed.
  5. Free Software Submissions Only Submitting software for the community to look at? Awesome! Do us a favor and explain WHY the community should look at it and/or use it. Please note that software submissions should be Free and Open-Source (This facilitates self-hosting and allows users to use the software as they please). Proprietary software submissions are not allowed.
  6. No Surveys Surveys are great for collecting data, but that's exactly the problem. Because of this we require all surveys to have mod approval before posting (send a modmail with a link to survey asking for approval). Surveys that have not been approved will be removed. Additionally, all surveys will have a disclaimer about data collection and advising community members to use caution when partaking in surveys.
  7. No Piracy Piracy isn't ethical and quite frankly, illegal. On-top of that, inexperienced users can end up doing some damage to their systems. For everyone's sake, keep discussion on topic to software that respects your right to do what you want with it. Do not promote, encourage, link to, request or offer pirated software and content. Posts and comments breaking this rule will be removed.
  8. Just The Facts In order to facilitate proper discussion, claims should be backed up with actual facts. Please do not go around spouting random information that you cannot back up with claims (ex: duckduckgo steals your search history). Opinions are acceptable but don't label them as factual.
  9. Software Submissions All posts flaired as a Software Submission are REQUIRED to respond to the automod comment requesting additional information within an hour of posting. You must follow the additional information instructions correctly. # Failure to do this step will result in your post being removed. Adding this information into your initial post WILL NOT bypass this requirement. Using a different flair to bypass this will result in your post also being removed.
  10. posting guidelines Please do not post freeware that has no source code available under a free license.

All 9 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Be Respectful This shouldn't need to be a rule, but this is the internet. People can unnecessarily be jerks sometimes. We'd much appreciate it if this wasn't a place where that happens. Please refrain from talking down to people, being overly patronizing, name-calling, personal insults, etc. Hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. For a refresher, please see Reddit's entry on Reddiquette as a general guideline.
  2. No Spam or Excessive Self-Promotion Reddit has clear rules about self promotion. We encourage you to be proud of/promote your work to a degree, but we also don't want users using this sub as a link farm to promote their project/website/YouTube channel. Reddit recommends that <10% of your posts promote your content. We're a *little* more forgiving, but don't take advantage of it. *"It's perfectly fine to be a redditor with a website, it's not okay to be a website with a reddit account."*
  3. Memes & Low-Effort Posts This sub is a place for discussion and news regarding the world of open source projects. There are literally hundreds of other subs dedicated to memes and shitposting. Please keep those kinds of posts in those subs. All AI-generated content is low-effort and ban worthy.
  4. Be On-Topic Posts should be of direct relevance to the open source community. Off-topic posts will be removed. Code or repositories linked to MUST have a LICENSE file that MUST be an OSI listed Open Source license: https://opensource.org/licenses
  5. No Sensationalized Titles If your post is a link to an article, please keep your post title as close to, if not the same as, the linked article's title. You're more than welcome to post a comment in the thread that states your opinion of said article.
  6. No Drive-By Posting / Karma Farming Karma farm accounts are not going to be welcome here, regardless of the validity of the posted content. Drive-by posts from accounts where there is obviously no intention of engaging in the following discussion may be removed.
  7. No Link Aggregations If there's an article within an aggregation of links/stories or a newsletter, link to the actual story or article.
  8. Use Correct Flairs Flairs should reflect the nature of the post. Promotional is when you are sharing a project, yours or otherwise. Alternatives is when you are soliciting for suggestions of OSS that fulfills a need. Discussion is for asking general questions when Promotional or Alternatives does not apply. Community is for something that will or has happened when Promotional does not apply.

Rules read Oct 4 · its rules on Reddit

Written for Threadbase from what you wrote on Reddit and these communities’ saved rules. Rules change: read each community’s current rules before you post.

All of them on our apps, websites and software list.

A missing rule is not permission, and a community's current rules always win.

Making something else? Look up your own product

A few things before you start.

What do I need?

Your own Claude or Codex plan (Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex), your Reddit account, and a computer with Chrome for the one-time setup. After that you can start and follow runs from the Claude app on your phone with Remote Control (Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise): it drives the session on your computer, so the computer needs to be on. Watch the setup walkthrough.

What arrives after payment?

Your private library with the ThreadFox installer and connection guide. Connect your AI and Chrome, give it your business brief and let it carry out the outreach you authorize. Claim your included Launch Pack there: a researched community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product, emailed within 24 hours of your claim.

Will it post automatically?

Yes. Once connected, your AI can research, write, publish and follow up within the permissions you give it. ThreadFox supplies the tools and workflow; your AI client runs the job. Keep the required computer and client running for active work. Community rules, account restrictions and your client's permission prompts still apply.

What if it is not for me?

The kit has a 30-day self-service refund. Your free plan stays free.

Does this guarantee customers?

No. The demo proves that the tools can publish a post and reply. Results depend on your offer, the conversations available and how people respond. See our recorded runs.
